This suggests the way to solve the looming SSA shortfall in the 30s onward would be to eliminate the exemption for the wealthy making income with stock & security, not seen as income for SS reporting puposes. Problem: the rich aren't eligble to collect SS Retirement benefits, making it literally taxation w/o representation, and screws the middle class, with it's mixed incomes.
