On the same day that Jeff Bezos cracks down on unflattering opinion in his newspaper, corporate #Bluesky begins to censor the progressive ex-Twitter/X users that had flocked there thinking that they where switching to a safe haven.
So, it matters who owns your platform.

@heretical_i Imagine how happy cryptobros are with the Trump administration, now that it's holding crypto as a reserve currency...
I dont watch the tickers. Has that made crypto any more stable or is it still a gambling and scam operation @argumento ?
@heretical_i As Bukele's move, it's very likely to make crypto more stable, unless Trump plays a rug pull, but I see that as unlikely. Once a big actor like a State gets hold of cryptos they'll need to keep the value within a threshold or risk loosing vasts amounts of money.
@heretical_i But that'll keep cryptobros eating from Trump and Musk's hand. And in that sense, the projects they fund won't bite the hand that feeds them.
